Previous Work 3 x Examples - in support of Bench Connection R&D - Emma Barnie
Tower Bridge Road Mural
Barnie and Matlakas collaboration to create an illustrated mural of Bermondsey archives and suggestions from people walking past, including Joan (pictured and interviewed below).
This work inspired me to consider how public art can invite conversation and stories with by-passers.

Workshop Facilitation Commission, Entelechy Arts
A 12-week facilitation project using costume, storytelling and choreography with care home residents (Lewisham Homes) in the lead up to 'Age Against the Machine' Festival, designed and led by Barnie and collaborator Taraneh.
This project developed my skills in facilitating creative group conversations whilst bringing my support work experience into creative and ethical project delivery in care settings.

Unicorn on the Cob
Designed and painted for the Leukaemia UK charity sculpture trail by Barnie, this unicorn was located in Bristol's Castle Park.
This commission showed how playful accessible art in public space can help connect communities and bring joy.
