I worked with the staff on the participatory process, who also created instagram stories where people were invited to respond with what inspired them most about the pub, which all came together in the design. The main recurring themes were the gorgeous dancehall era swags and tails, the staff, the jazzy Sundays and the beer flowing. On the open paint day people naturally gravitated towards the wall and there were around 36 participants over the course of the afternoon, with an average of 2-3 people on the wall at any one time.
