Icons drawn from student life - lab equipment, football, the Curry Mile, and the bee bus - sit alongside imagery from Manchester’s industrial and tech heritage, from cotton mills to the ‘Baby’ computer and the atom split. A vertical column through the centre represents a spiritual journey of growth and awakening. Themes of music, nature, and local culture flow throughout, with 22 flying bees honouring those lost in the Manchester Arena attack.
